(Henry V by William Shakespeare)
The Stone Cross St Georges Day Society Parade took place today, estimates of the crowd varies from 15,000 to 25,000. There were loads of families, Mums, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Teens, Infants and Babies. With Saint George himself at hand, a jolly good time was had by all.
The proceedings had been overshadowed by Local politics where Sandwell Council Stopped then started then withdrew funding (I think), leaving local business man, Chris Kelly to be the hero of the hour, by putting in £10,000 of his company's (therefore his own) money. Thank you Chris.
Also putting in an appearance this 'non-political' event were those two well known "dastardly and evil" patriots, Sir Nick Griffin and Lord Simon Darby.
Things were, however, spoilt by The Stirrer himself, "big-mouth" Goldberg, who HAD to mention right wing politics, and drawing his usually incorrect bigoted comparison of The BNP with the nf (Here we go again Adrian ZZZZZZZ zzzzzzzzzz .........). TITVS-ADVXAS took a few photos of the proceedings and has placed all 339 pictures on Public View at his WEBSHOTS page.
